This afternoon Georgia and Anna went out into the backyard and collected a basket full of sticks. I then trimmed these sticks and hot-glued them together to create a little fairy bed for each of them. Afterwards, they glued silk leaves, feathers, and ribbons to them to decorate them. Here is Georgia's bed before being fully decorated:

Oh WOW! What a great idea for the kids to do after they help clean up sticks in the yard :D Thanks for the inspiration, we're sure to do that when it warms up a little (and the snow melts so we can *find* the twigs...lol!!).
Oh my goodness!! We will definitly be making these for our fairy house!!
Absolutely fabulous!

I *LOVE* this!!! How adorable is your little girl?!!! I still have my monkey convinced that fairies live in mushrooms, and that "magic circles" have immense powers. At 9 y/o, she's starting to doubt me.
Sigh.
Beautiful, beautiful.
We did fairy gardens last summer and this would be a great addition to it!
