On Wednesday, with Iain, we got some more plants in the ground . . . this time the strawberries. One of the strawberries had previously been quite big and nearly ripe, but alas, it was too tempting for some creature (squirrel? bird?), and was quite nibbled away.
Iain came to the garden fashionably attired in the removable-lens fish sunglasses.
We first filled the birdbath/strawberry pot with potting soil.
Once filled, Josephine gently placed the strawberry plants into the openings (Iain does not like to touch dirt . . . I must remember to try gloves).
And here it is, up close and in its entirety, our potted strawberries!
