Today we had fun with egg and spoon races. Josephine got a wonderful toy for her birthday a couple months ago . . . plastic spoons and eggs that "crack" when dropped to expose a beanbag yolk and egg white inside. Here are Katie, Lucas, Orianna, and Josephine just before the race . . .

Later, in an effort to build a fort, Lucas and Ryan used the firewood and ended up making a very interesting sculpture in the lawn.
Meanwhile, Katie made her own fort using a sheet and the clothesline.
